Dust in the Wind

(Blouse: c/o Chicnova, Pinafore: c/o BooHoo)

Overalls and Pinafores are definitely making a comeback, and I'm perfectly ok with it! I think the straps on this skirt are a great touch to make it a little more unique than a regular circle skirt. And how cute is the horse printed blouse with it?! I really love wearing this where I live too, since there are so many horses and old barns. I have an obsession with printed things obviously!

The Road Doesn't End Here

(Top & Bag: Vintage For Sale at 'KooKooKachoo Vintage', Pants: Urban Outfitters, Belt: Vintage)

The weather has been absolutely beautiful this past week. I was able to wear some tank tops again! I've always had a soft spot for lace, and my favorite color is green..so I'm sure you can see why I love this top! I love the high collar too, just makes it a little more unique. And nothing completes a look like a beautiful leather bag :)

This top and bag are for sale in my shop! As is lots of other great vintage!

Rock and Roll Woman

(Jacket: Urban Outfitters, Dress: Free People, Necklace: Luv by the Moon, Shoes: c/o The Horse)

I know I say this a lot, but this time I really mean it when I say that this has been my favorite thing to wear lately. This jacket has been my go to statement piece with everything. I am such a sucker for velvet and this jacket is the perfect color too...kind of reminds me of Jimi Hendrix. I love the chevron look on the front of this dress too. It's just one of those outfits that pairs together well and makes me feel great!

Trouble Town

(Top: Free People, Dress: Free People, Key Bracelet: c/o Eclectic Eccentricity, Boots & Bag: Vintage)

Layered in Free People Clothing, what could be better? I have been wearing this slip dress so much. It's just the perfect go to dress and has so many gorgeous details. I love the idea of pairing longer sleeved tops under dress, and I love how these two look together. It's definitely been difficult trying not to buy everything now that I'm working at Free People!
Thanks for understanding that my past week was extremely busy, and made it pretty difficult to post regularly. I have a bit more free time this week and I can't wait to be back blogging on the regular again! :)

My shop is full of great vintage too!

Free People Bridgeport Opening! (Photo Diary)

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEK!
This week has been so awesome and exhausting all at the same time! I'm so lucky to have the chance to be a part of help open a Free People store! It's kind of a dream come true for me. I've learned so much and got to see so many cool things. I met many amazing and inspiring people, and I am happy to have gotten such a great opportunity like this. This week I also learned how to macrame! And I got to help put together some beautiful displays. It was a lot of work but everyone worked so well together and it was so cool to see it all come together.
I hope, if you have the opportunity, you will to come see the store tomorrow at the grand opening! Or sometime soon! I'm so proud of the new store and can't wait to show it off!!
P.S. if you can make it tomorrow, we're doing hair chalking and braiding & the first 100 customers get a 3 pack of nail polish!! Hope to see you tomorrow at Free People Bridgeport! ;)

Tropic

(Dress: Urban Outfitters, Boots & Bag: Vintage)

A girl can never have too many floral dresses right? ;) Spring is finally getting closer, and there's nothing I love wearing more than a floral dress this time of the year. I love the detailing of this one too. The cut out back it so cute and makes the dress kind of flirty. Definitely a dress I like to wear if I'm going out.
I've been pretty busy with work recently! And I'm excited to be working on the new Free People store that is opening on Friday at the Bridgeport Village! I hope to see some of you guys at the grand opening too :)

Added new stuff to my vintage shop, including more army jackets!!
