Gimme Shelter

(Shirt: UO, Vest: Willow & Clay, Pants and Boots: Free People, Bag: Mojave)

I'm sure you all know I've been so busy with school since I say it about every post! This outfit is something I like to throw on when I know I'll be spending all day at school and I just want to be comfortable. I don't wear graphic tees too often, but I definitely love wearing band tees.
I was so excited to post this too and introduce you all to this amazing shop that's located in Portland! Mojave is the cutest boho boutique ran by the nicest girl ever named Chelsea! She picks all of the items herself, and I definitely must say she has amazing taste. I loved all of the decorations and the overall feel of the store. If you're ever in the Portland, Oregon are you have to check it out! If not, you can always check out her online store.

Monday Music

Lately I've been busy working on homework and projects for school. I usually have to have some sort of background noise when I'm working on everything. So I decided to share with you some of my favorites right now. I would love to hear your favorites too, I love finding new music!

Lou Doillon - Devil or Angel
Washed Out - Don't Give Up
Cage the Elephant - Come a Little Closer
Lord Huron - Ghost on the Shore
Nick Drake - Northern Sky
The Whitest Boy Alive - Burning
Bob Dylan - You Ain't Goin' Nowhere

Enjoy! <3

Life Lately

I've been absolutely loving the beautiful fall weather here in Portland. This city glows even more this time of the year. I also celebrated my one year anniversary of moving to Portland! So exciting!

Last week, I took my little brother to the zoo and had so much fun! I loved seeing all the animals, and I saw my two favorites (giraffe and cheetah). I think my brother had a great time too.

I love finding coffee shops to do my homework in. I recently discovered Courier Coffee and I love it! They even serve their drinks in mason jars, so very Portland...I love it ;)

Wearing head to toe Free People

I'm sure coffee and tea photos might get old, but I can't resist taking them. Especially when a cool rug is involved.

Art school has been keeping me so so so busy lately! I'm taking 4 classes and you better believe there's always lots of homework involved. The great thing about it though is I'm studying something I love so it makes school very enjoyable!

Some of my most recent foot and leg shots. Also addicting like the coffee photos.

Last but certainly not least, some words to think about. It can sometimes be hard to not think of the negative side of things, but it's important to believe in yourself. Be your own motivator!
(I also made this with a cool app I found called Landcam!)

Just wanted to share some of my recent Instagram photos. As usual, I have been working hard on school and work, but outfit photos are soon to come! Thanks for the feedback in my last post, if you haven't already left some feedback I would love to know what posts you guys would be interested in seeing from me!

Never Say Never

(Hat: Forever 21, Dress: Free People, Shoes: Free People)

It feels like years since I've posted! It's been a bit over a week and I am so sorry for that! As I've said before, school and work has been keeping me extremely busy and my family came to visit this weekend. Anyways, here is one of my favorite outfits ever lately. It's kind of funny because I used to say I never wear red...and lately I've been so drawn to red. I think buying this dress brought out my love for red a little more. This dress is so comfy and flowy, it's perfect for when I'm in a rush for school or work but still want to look cute. It almost gives off a little vintage feel which makes me love it even more!

I also wanted to ask you guys for your opinion on some posts! What would you like me to post about here and there? More inspirations? Collages? I would love your feedback! I love sharing my ideas with you guys too!

From the Morning

(Hat: Anthropologie, Top: Thrifted, Pants: Free People, Shoes: Free People)

My favorite thing about this look, is I feel as though I'm still in my pajamas! It's so comfortable and casual but still fall appropriate. Is anyone else obsessed with plaid like me right now?! I'm so glad that it's a "fall trend" because I can't get enough of it! I love how these pants are kind of baggy too, they're almost like a boyfriend fit which makes them even cooler I think! Dressing them up with some heels, and it's my favorite boy/girl type look.

Anyone else looking forward to Alexa Chung's new book "It"? I just pre-ordered it and I am so anxious for it to get here!!
Happy Friday!

Fall Sun

(Top: Vintage, Shorts: Black Swan, Bag: The Leather Satchel Co., Boots: The Horse)

The fall weather around here has been so beautiful! Sunny but still a bit chilly, so I have to wear tights for the most part. I love love love these floral shorts from Black Swan! They're a bit high-waisted too, which is why I love them even more. The colors are perfect for the fall too, I think.
I have been so busy with school and work again, so I am sorry for the lack of posts!

The Northwest

(Hat: Anthropologie, Top: J Crew, Bag: Vintage, Shoes and Pants: Free People)

Fall in the Northwest is absolutely beautiful. I love all of the changing leaves, and the dark colors from the rain. All of these colors make me want to dress in the colors I see around me. I've been into just simple outfits and dressing a little more casual. Probably just a little phase I'm going through, but I like being somewhat casual for school. I am so excited to be wearing my favorite brown cords non stop again too!
I'm headed back to school today, busy schedule here I come!
