Keeping it Casual

I love a simple outfit. Jeans and a tee and I'm happy! Even though my outfits can be simple sometimes, I always like to wear something a bit unexpected or interesting. And these Jeffrey Campbell's are definitely interesting! They add so much character to my outfits. I've even decided that if I were a shoe...these would be me! ;)
This bag has been beyond amazing for all of my school work and laptop. I like doing homework at coffee shops sometimes, so it's nice to have a sturdy bag to lug it all around.
Hope you're all enjoying your weekend!

Check It

I love mixing prints especially in black in white, it's almost impossible to do it wrong. Cow print and check print...hell yes. The organza thing is pretty interesting to me too. It's so unique how structured it is.
For those of you who follow me on Instagram probably saw my 2 new pairs of Jeffrey Campbell's, and I am so in love with both pairs. I'm surprised I've taken them off when I go to bed.
(Sorry for the repost, I had some technology problems!)

Old Ways

I thought I would go back to my original inspiration and go for a vintage inspired look. Even though this romper is modern, it looks so 60s to me! I love the high collar. I have been searching for the perfect caramel colored hat for a couple months now and I have FINALLY found it! It's going to be so wonderful for fall, I'm getting even more excited for the upcoming season. But I am going to miss wearing cutoffs and sandals...

Palm

One of the many reasons I love wearing tropical prints, is that it reminds me of warm weather and salty beaches. I'm a bit of a wanderlust and I'm already craving another getaway. So I guess the next best thing to an actual vacation is to dress like you're there.
I'll be dreaming of sipping margaritas on the beach as I finish my homework.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Panasonic Headphones Giveaway!

I recently received a pair of Panasonic headphones to try out. I'm a firm believer that a good pair of headphones can really change a music experience. I love that these fit over my entire ear, because I've had pairs in the past that make my ears ache after wearing them for too long. Plus, I feel like I'm fully submerged in my music! No distractions! Perfect for going on walks around Portland or when I take the bus. All in all, I couldn't be happier with these bad boys.
I'm so excited to also announce that Panasonic is going to be giving a lucky reader of mine a free pair!!

Little Cord Dress

This is one of those outfits that is pretty much my uniform, basically one of my "go-to" outfits. This dress is perfect for when I go to work and then head out with friends or my boyfriend after. I'm a sucker for corduroy, so a button up corduroy dress? I'm all in!
I've thought about buying a back up pair of these sandals since I wear them so much. They're the comfiest sandal I've ever had and literally go with everything!

Summers End

Sadly, summer is slowly drifting away. The days are getting shorter and cooler, and I've been trying to cram in my last summer plans as much as possible. The end of summer and beginning of fall is probably my favorite season. I love watching the leaves start to change and see the transition of it all.
Just a bit of Sunday inspiration! Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

Easy Does It

Black maxi dress...the perfect item to dress up or down. For this post, I wanted to show how I would style it for more of an everyday, comfortable look. And then in the next couple of days, I'll have a post on how I like to dress it up a bit!
I've been obsessed with the idea of tying shirts around anything from dresses to tops and shorts. I thought that pairing it with a plaid button up would be the perfect way to give it a grunge feel and definitely dress it down. Of course there's no other way to dress a dress down than to wear some tennis shoes. I thought my Vans would do just the trick ;)

Double Mint

For quite awhile I had been searching for a co-ord set (a matching two piece). And I finally found one! Suede and mint...what's not to love about it?! I definitely think I'll be adding more co-ords to my closet. They're just a fun and different piece from a dress, and plus you can mix and match them with other pieces.
I'm taking advantage of these last summer days as much as possible. Wearing all of my sandals, going on picnics in the park, and long walks in the sunshine. But I'm not going to lie, I'm a little excited for fall!
