Oversized

I think I've mentioned before my newly found love of houndstooth. It's such a classic print and is super fun to mix other prints with. So an oversized, houndstooth print scarf is pretty much a dream to me! I love how much this scarf layers, it's super cozy and great for the bit of wind and cold we've been having here. This outfit is a little more "edgier" I guess than how I normally dress, but I like it. I feel put together and confident in this outfit.

Let's Run Away

I've been seeing so many people go on vacation lately, and I am so completely jealous. Nothing sounds nicer than lounging on a beach under the sun. It's good to have a break every now and then I think. This is another look as a #uoonyou Stylist. I am really in love with these shorts! They're so funky and add a great bit of color to a normal tank top. They would definitely be the perfect piece for any type of summer activity. 

I also bought myself a new lens for my camera! I'm pretty excited about it and even more excited how the photos turn out with them! I can't wait to take more outfit photos with it.

Rising Sun

I'm pretty excited to share this post and some exciting news with you guys! I was recently asked by Urban Outfitters if I would like to be one of their new UOonYOU Stylists! I've always been so inspired by Urban Outfitters, and I've even worked for them so they've always had a very special place in my heart. For them to ask me if I would like to be a UOonYOU Stylist is definitely a dream come true! It still feels a bit surreal.

With so many music festivals and road trips coming up with the arrival of warmer weather, I put together a look that I thought would be great for traveling and dancing to some great music. I don't usually wear too much jewelry but lately I've kind of been obsessed with statement necklaces. I think they add so much character to an simple top or a graphic tee. I've been wearing this one almost everyday since I got it.

I'm so excited to be a part of this! Thank you all so much for all of your support over the years, these opportunities wouldn't come if it weren't for you guys! I can't thank you enough. And thank you so much to my boyfriend for snapping these photos!

Eat a lot, Sleep a lot.

Eat a lot, sleep a lot. This is basically how I'm getting myself through college. It can be a lot of work sometime, and very time consuming but I think it's really important to find time to just unwind. It's all going to be worth the time and effort once it's all done! All the snow has melted here in Portland, but the rain has been full swing again. I just hope it doesn't get in the way of photos!

As of Lately

 Portland has been hit by a winter storm! It's been forcing me to bundle up in my warmest costs and hide under my hats. I've been wearing nothing but my fuzzy sweater from Urban Outfitters.

The bunnies at my aunt and uncles house had babies! They're the sweetest, softest, most adorable creatures I've ever seen...and they fit in one hand!

I recently acquired a pen pal! 

Succulents have been everywhere lately. I couldn't help but get a few for my room.

Winter Bliss

It has been a winter wonderland here in Portland! This is the most snow I've ever seen here. It's been so beautiful but very cold. I've been bundling up in sweaters and hats and staying indoors for the most part. The city has almost shut down a little which is a great excuse to hangout inside with a hot cup of cocoa. My boyfriend and I went to explore the Forest Park area a little to see what it was like covered in snow, so we we're able to snap a few photos.

Plaid Layers

I really just love this flannel. It's super soft and serves as the perfect layering piece for colder days. I have been having an obsession lately with fuzzy sweaters, and this one is extra special because my boyfriend got it for me. Wearing collared shirts under my sweaters is one of my favorite ways to add warmth and some cute colors or patterns!

The Moptop + ModCloth

I was recently contacted by ModCloth to see if I would be interested in styling a piece to be entered in the 'Uniquely You Campaign'...and of course I was up for the challenge! I'm not usually one to dress up too much on an everyday basis, so this definitely was a great challenge for me to style this dress. With Valentine's day just around the corner, I couldn't help but think this would be a perfect dress for the occasion! I love the velvet pink purse, and it's very Valentine's day appropriate I think. I've really been into gold accessories lately and I think gold and black are so beautiful together.

Pacific City

Here are some more photos from me and my boyfriend's day trip to Pacific City, Oregon. I really recommend visiting this beautiful place if you ever get the chance. The rocks were really cool and there were even some small little caves. I love being by the ocean, it's my favorite place in the world. The weather was so perfect too, I couldn't have wished for a better day.
