The weekend has finally been beautiful! The sun is shining bright at last, and I have been soaking it up! Well here is my DIY fringe dress that I've featured before in a post, and it's definitely something I will be wearing during the summer. It's very lightweight and breezy to wear.

If the Sun Refused to Shine

It seems as though the sun really is refusing to shine...it's still be raining constantly. Don't get me wrong..I enjoy the rain. But not when it seems like it's been raining for weeks straight! I thought it was JUNE!? haha I'm sure soon enough the sun and I will meet again.

Well check out my crazy, cool vintage purple vest! Awesome right? But almost impossible to match with a lot of things. So I went all black and made the vest really pop. 

Friday is here :) And I'm counting down the days for school to be out! Woot.

This outfit was inspired by one of my favorite fashion icons...Alexa Chung :) I found the first photo while surfing the web...and I knew I had a cardigan and top very similar. So here it is! Her style is so boyish but she pulls it off so effortlessly cool every time. I am always inspired by her style.

Here are my new high waisted shorts too! They used to be a pair of flaired jeans, but I cut them and made some shorts. I am going to live in them this summer...so I'm sure you all will be seeing them a lot! 

I wish the photos would have showed more detail in my white top. It has the cutest button at the top..I love it! And check out my new sandals!! They are soo comfortable and I love the hippie/chic vibe they give off. You can buy your own pair from Wanted Shoes! They have lots great styles that are absolutely perfect for summer.
