Madewell Fall 2012

My favorite thing about dressing during the fall and winter is being able to layer! This fall 2012 lookbook from Madewell is such a great inspiration for layering and mixing different prints. 

Print mixing is something I really admire and wish I was better at. I'm also loving the bit of mens wear flare in these looks. I just love everything about this collection, and it gets my creative juices flowing! Definitely wanted to share it with you all :)

Keeping It Classy

Sorry for yet another bit of absence from posting! My boyfriend came to visit this weekend so I was busy spending time with him :) I miss him already and I can't wait to see him again!

I'm getting even more settled into my new city. All has been great and I even got a job...at Urban Outfitters!!! I can't wait to start and work for a company I really love and see where it takes me!

This is what I plan on wearing the first day. It's a little business-y I think, business casual ;) I love wearing collared shirts under sweaters, it adds some fun to a sweater. Especially during fall when I'm living in sweaters, I like to mix it up and layer!

Black Mountain Side

First off, I just wanted to say what a great week I'm having! I'm so glad that moving over to the Portland area is finally starting to fall into place. Today made it totally worth it, more details once everything is certain :)

It rains so much here and at first I was a little worried I wouldn't get used to it. But I actually really love it! The rain always makes the air so refreshing and cool. I still have yet to get an umbrella though. Lucky for me, items like this poncho have hoods to keep me a little dry. I love the colors of this poncho and the effortless touch of boho it adds to an otherwise pretty simple outfit. And I'm still keeping cozy in this lovely sweater :)
