Double Mint

For quite awhile I had been searching for a co-ord set (a matching two piece). And I finally found one! Suede and mint...what's not to love about it?! I definitely think I'll be adding more co-ords to my closet. They're just a fun and different piece from a dress, and plus you can mix and match them with other pieces.
I'm taking advantage of these last summer days as much as possible. Wearing all of my sandals, going on picnics in the park, and long walks in the sunshine. But I'm not going to lie, I'm a little excited for fall!

Future Eyes

Part three (finally!) of my shoot with Elisabeth of Elisabeth Rose Photography. I know I've said this before, but this dress really reminds me of Jimi Hendrix. So when I was deciding what to pair with it for the shoot, I wanted to do just exactly what Jimi would do and add more colors and textures.
I tried on a pair of Future Eyes glasses for the first time during this shoot, and they are SO COOL. It's like looking through a kaleidoscope! You can even take photos through them...they're truly one of a kind!

What I'm wearing: Dress: Free People, Kimono: Gift, Necklace: Free People, Shoes: Free People, Glasses: Future Eyes

Bits of New York

I'm going to be honest. I didn't take far as many photos during my trip to NYC as I would have liked to. But with all the time spent wandering the streets, going to the MET and MOMA, Central Park, the Empire State Building, Brooklyn, and so much more... I found myself actually just enjoying the moment rather than trying to remember it with a photo.
New York was just as magical and exciting as I had hoped. I began having withdrawals from the city the moment I got on the plane home. Who knows though, maybe some day in the future I will be calling NYC home too. (fingers crossed)
