Here I am, wearing my lovely new sweater from my previous post :)

It is definitely one of my new favorites to wear. I love to throw it on when I 'm in a hurry..it's so comfy to wear and I adore it. I actually really love the netting on the sleeves because it keeps me from getting too hot. But it's probably not what I will be wearing on the 4th this July ;) By the way, I'm terribly sorry if you hate the fact that I practically live in my hats!! 

The weekend has finally arrived!! Though it will hardly feel like a weekend to me, since I have so much to do. But I'm sure come Sunday I will find my time to relax. It's always easiest to relax on Sundays for some reason... I never really got that.

Summer Gardens

 It's finally May, which means summer is finally on its way! 

I'm so ready to wear all my skirts, and summer dresses again! This tank top is actually a dress, but it's a tad bit too short so it works well as more of a top than anything. I'm such a sucker for floral prints!! I need to be on the look out for another skirt somewhat similar to this one but in a different color. I love mixing and matching my tops and skirts, but I seriously where this with EVERYTHING! So if anyone has any recommendations please let me know!

You can see why the second reason my blog name is "The Moptop"...seriously look at that mop on my head! ;) Most days, including this one, my hair doesn't like to cooperate. Which is why I always end up resulting to a hat.

Welcome new followers!! We're getting close to 300! That's so crazy to think about. I remember when I started blogging, my goal was to reach 100 by the end of the year. You guys are amazing :)

I know, it's only Rock&Roll

I finally get to show you all my DIY jean vest :) I bought a jean jacket at a thrift store and cut the sleeves off to get this rocker/grunge vest. A lot cheaper than going out and buying a new one. 

Tonight, the boyfriend and I are going to a friends house to hangout at their new beautiful apartment. They are always a lot of fun to hangout with and our nights are always filled with lots of laughs, so I'm looking forward to that. As for the rest of the weekend, I'm going to be doing the same usual routine...working, homework, and relaxing. So I won't be back until Monday to respond to all of your lovely comments.
