I recently noticed a huge basic missing from my wardrobe...BLACK BOOTS! I have so many pairs of brown boots but I think one black pair. I'm definitely one to wear boots all year round too, including the summer! They are perfect accessories for dresses and high waist shorts. I usually like pretty minimal looking boots, but I wouldn't mind giving some buckles and straps a try. These are some of the boots that are on my wish list right now. Which one is your favorite? I can't decide which ones to get!

Old Friends

The weather has been absolutely beautiful here in Portland! Sunny enough that I haven't had to wear tights with my outfits and finally let my legs soak up some much needed sun. It's always a weird transition going from winter and fall clothes to the warmer months. Does anyone else feel like they have nothing to wear?! I think I'm just used to getting cozy in my sweaters. I can't wait to wear more of my dresses again! Overalls are always the perfect transition piece I think. They really can be worn so many ways!

Tangerine, Tangerine.

I found this amazing vintage peacoat this weekend! I instantly fell in love the moment I saw it. I can't decide what I love more, the wonderful buttons or the amazing paisley print on the inside. It's too perfect. I'm not usually one to wear too much orange, but I kind of like it. I've been experimenting more with color lately. I used to be so opposed to wearing certain colors, but I think it was mostly because I had never tried wearing them. It's good to branch out and try new things when it comes to fashion!
