My first attempt at high waisted shorts...fail.
I tried to buy them online, and like most things..they looked awesome on the model. However, when I tried them on myself...they were a little too big. I guess there's a first time for everything right? I think the next time I get some high waisted shorts, I will go to a thrift store and find some levi's and make them myself. They will still be something very fun to wear this summer, and that I am excited for.
I had a very fun weekend filled with lots of good times with friends and the boyfriend....and I think some people had a little too much fun. But now it's time to do some sunday relaxing. Today I will be going shopping with my step mom hopefully to find some new great additions to my life, and eventually I will need to catch up on my homework. I love listening to my new record player while working on school work. Listening to Bob Dylan and CSN on vinyl is a great way to end the weekend. :)

    i would not call these shorts a fail - they look great! i have had some difficulty when shopping for anything high-waisted, though, so i know how you feel! wonderful look all around!

    I think they look good you can't see they are too big at all.
    Cutting thrifted levis is super easy, just make sure you measure, i have had one too short and one too long before

    another delicate fabulous blouse. it looks so easy breezy. love the adorable flowers and the beige color. the sleeves are way too cute. fabulous combination with the hat and the boots, you look a little bit like a bohemian girl in the wild woods
