Easy Does It







Black maxi dress...the perfect item to dress up or down. For this post, I wanted to show how I would style it for more of an everyday, comfortable look. And then in the next couple of days, I'll have a post on how I like to dress it up a bit! 
I've been obsessed with the idea of tying shirts around anything from dresses to tops and shorts. I thought that pairing it with a plaid button up would be the perfect way to give it a grunge feel and definitely dress it down. Of course there's no other way to dress a dress down than to wear some tennis shoes. I thought my Vans would do just the trick ;)

    I can't even express how much I love this! I've never thought about adding a shirt to a maxi dress, but I love how it gives this totally different, very relaxed look to it.

    Tying shirts around everything is so convenient! It looks good, and when it gets chilly, an extra layer is right there at reach :)
