Take to me back to this beautiful day, the beautiful light, the perfect setting, and the perfect time spent with my favorite guy. I love those days that just seem to go so right, and you're just caught up making memories.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I just love pairing the same color together. Wearing the same shade but different tones makes for an interesting outfit I think. And can I just say that I wear this cardigan so much? It's so perfect for wearing around the house on colder morning while I drink my coffee. 

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, I'm about to work the madness that is Black Friday so wish me luck!

Wildfang x The Moptop

I'm constantly blown away and inspired by the talent that is in Portland. I was so lucky to have the opportunity to collab with local brand Wildfang and local film photographer Amanda Smith to shoot some looks around the city. The photos turned out so great and reminded me of an old vintage magazine. Seriously, film is the coolest. I'm really hoping I'll be able to shoot with her again!

Also, if any of you guys plan on shopping on Black Friday, make sure and stop by Wildfang! They will be having 20% off everything (goes on from the 28th-30th) and $20 towards your next purchase! I also heard word they will be giving out Coava Coffee...which is one of my favorite things in the entire world. I might have to do some shopping there too..

I'm still in shock of how we're already in the holiday season! 

This is the time of the year for me when I like to dress up a little more, maybe add a little sparkle or velvet to an outfit. I thought this dress would be so perfect for any sort of holiday party. It has the perfect twist of edginess that I think fits so well with my wardrobe. Not to mention I have a bit of an obsession with shift dresses.

The Essentials

Plaid and a hat are without a doubt my two main essentials when it comes to fall outfits. Maybe plaid just gives off a really cozy feel, but it's just great this time of the year. I really love the feminine touch this top has too. I usually stray away from v-neck tops, but this one is cut perfectly that it may have opened my mind a bit to trying out more. Yay to trying new things!

Child of the 90s

There's just something about this outfit that has such a 90s vibe to it that I'm all about. Maybe it's the mock neck, ribbed material,the washed denim, and the tennis shoes. But the combination of it all makes me feel like I'm back in '97 again. 

It was SO cold, and SO windy yesterday in Portland which was SO frustrating because all I wanted to do was take blog photos and actually have a good productive day. I got really mad and worked up about it, but someone reminded me "Don't get worried or frustrated over things you can't control". And it was really exactly what I needed. It's so strange how something can seem like such a big deal in the moment, but when you take a step back it's a lot smaller then you think.

I'm blabbing. Anyways, I hope you all are enjoying the week so far and staying warmer than me!

Northwest Native

There are those days that I feel like growing up in the Northwest has had an impact on my style. Especially with during these colder months, there's nothing like a cozy oversized sweater and a hat to bring out my inner mountain woman. I've been so lucky to grow up being surrounded by such incredible landscapes and being able to experience all of the four seasons.
