Last of Fall

This year, one of my major fall staples has been an oversized, comfy sweater. I've been so busy lately that it's been great just to throw on a sweater with my black jeans and a pair of boots and call it good. It takes out all of the complications of "what should I wear" and "I hate everything in my closet", because it's almost impossible to say no to a comfy sweater during the cold weather.

Black and Blue

Turtleneck, oversized coat, my black jeans, and some boots: my fall uniform.
During these months, there's nothing better than just being comfy and warm. I've been loving the idea of pairing same colors but different shades together. Maybe it's the art student in me ;) And black and blue will forever be one of my favorite color combinations (along with black and brown). Gotta love breaking the "fashion rules"!

Beyond City Limits

I snapped these photos just before sunset, which is one of my favorite times of the day. I love the light glow of the sun and just unwinding from the day. The dogs and I just spent a little bit of time exploring the tall grass. 

This sweater is without a doubt a staple for me for the upcoming colder months. I have been wearing it so much, despite the still warm weather...it's just too cozy to take off! I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of it on here!
