Time Pushes On

As the year comes to an end, it's only natural to reflect about the ups and downs of the previous year. 2012 was quite the journey for me. For me, it was a year of pondering and really deciding what I needed to do in order to make the most of my life and future. There were times when I was at a low point and I felt very stuck. But eventually I made the decision to move and really start to pursue my dreams. Nothing ever happens to those who sit and wait, I knew I had to take a leap or I never would. I have been in the Portland area for about 2 months now and it has already been an incredible journey. Lessons have already been learned and I'm learning so much about myself as well. I am so grateful for every minute of it.
I know that the new year is going to bring even more exciting things and I can't wait to jump in! There are so many great ideas I have planned for the new year and I'm excited to share them with you all.
I couldn't be anymore excited for 2013 and where my life is headed.

Into the Mystic

(Coat: Free People, Blouse: Free People, Pants: Free People, Ear Cuff: Urban Outfitters, Chevron Ring: c/o Enamour Entirety

This outfit is without a doubt my favorite thing to wear lately, for more than one reason. I'm sure you guys all know my obsession and love for Free People and what makes this outfit even more special is the fact that my boyfriend got my the coat and blouse for me this Christmas. I've had my eye on this coat for awhile and he surprised me with it! And he picked out the blouse himself. I love that :)
The little dot details in the top go perfectly with my favorite cords. It's just one of those outfits that I feel so comfortable and feel so me in. All outfits should be like that. Bring out the real you and let your personality really shine.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and holiday!
And a very special thank you to my Uncle Paul and cousin Lexi for helping with photos!

Sock Obsession

I'm sure you all have noticed by now that I'm a tad bit obsessed with socks. I have quite the little collection and I have to say these lovely socks from Butteiful Girls are my recent favorites. I love the lace trim at the top and the texture of the socks themselves. Not to mention how ridiculously soft they are. Great to lounge around the house in or pair with a cute dress....total sock addiction.

Check out Butteiful Girls yourself! I love supporting shops from the Northwest! :) All of their products are handmade too, which warms my heart even more!

Christmas Twist

(All vintage except corduroys: Free People)

What a busy time of year it is! Buying gifts, wrapping gifts, cooking, working, and trying to find time to blog has been my life recently. I'm sorry it's been awhile!
I've been loving wearing everything Christmas inspired recently! This outfit is a little bit of a twist on the traditional Christmas colors. I love mint any time of the year, and I think it goes well with the season too. I feel like a candy cane in this outfit!

Great vintage for sale in my shop always,

Holly & Ivy

(Top: Dahlia, Jacket: Black Sheep Clothing, Skirt: American Apparel, Boots: Vintage)

I haven't been this busy in a long time. I'm working lots with the current Christmas season, and I'm not complaining at all. But I'm sorry I haven't been the best blogger lately. I know I said this last post but I'm sorry...things have been hectic!
Anyways, here is yet another one of my Christmas/Holiday themed looks! Sequins have been everywhere lately and I think they're great this time of year. I don't usually wear a ton of glittery things, but this collared blouse adds the perfect touch to the look. Still obsessed with this jacket too I might add ;)

Check out my vintage for sale!

Winter Blues

(Dress: c/o Rieley Collection, Cardigan: Vintage, Boots: Urban Outfitters)

Lots and lots of shades of blues in this look. I've been obsessed with everything marled lately. I love all of the different specs of color, just like this cardigan. The sun came out for a bit and it was perfect for photos. It rains a lot here, which can get tiring after too long, but it really makes one appreciate the sunny days. I'm also really in love the cut of this beautiful dress from Rieley Collection. It has so many great colors too, definitely a fun dress! Rieley Collection has so many great pieces, I just recently found their site and I'm already addicted! Make sure and check it out :)

A few snap shots from my Instagram feed.
I've recently come down with a cold and I've spent the majority of my time in bed trying to get better. I have a busy week ahead of me with work, so I'm really hoping this cold will go away soon.
Work has been keeping me extra busy, I feel like the worst blogger lately. I love being busy though and I love my job! Today I got Charlie a handsome friend so she won't be lonely. Baby bunnies might be expected in the future, so if you're in the market for a cute furry friend...let me know!

Floral Overalls

(Coat & Top: Vintage, Scarf: Forever21, Overalls: Free People)

There was a time when I literally thought I would never wear overalls. This was before I was into fashion as much as I am now, and before I realized there are actually really cute styles of overalls out there. Just like these floral beauties from Free People. They're floral print and corduroy...my favorite! I'm very glad I decided to try something different because I am in love with them.
Sorry about the lack of posts lately! I have been very busy with work with the Christmas season approaching!
Have a great weekend everyone!

(Hat & Velvet Shirt: Vintage, Sweater: Sheinside, Pants: Free People)

As Christmas and the holidays quickly approach, I wanted to do some posts that were a little more festive and inspiring for this time of year! So here is one of them, wearing a sweater two ways and making it a little more holiday themed :)
This sweater is super versatile, it's basically the perfect sweater! I love pairing it over my collared tops to add even more fun and layer to my looks.
