With You

One of my absolute favorite things to do on the weekend, especially Sundays, is go on a walk with my boyfriend. I feel so lucky to be living in a city filled with beautiful places to walk and wander around. These were taken at Mt. Tabor park which is absolutely stunning and has amazing views of the city.
I wish I was in this little moment again, when everything seemed just so right. I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday and spending it with the ones you love!

It Ain't Me Babe

I hope you all had a great Christmas and any other holidays you may have celebrated! I had a great time, even though I didn't go home this year, I still got to spend it with my boyfriend.
Now finally back to some regular blog posts!
I knew I had to get this dress the moment I saw it. It is a little reminiscent of the 60s mod style I think. And not to mention it's perfect for the colder months, thanks to the longer sleeves.
Those of you who follow me on Instagram have probably already seen these beautiful boots I just recently got...and I am so in love. The faux hair is such a perfect addition to make them a little more interesting!

You guys might remember these photos from a previous post of mine, wearing my favorite turtleneck sweater ever. Well one of my favorite bloggers/internet friend/fellow Northwest Native (she resides in Minneapolis now), Chelsea of Zipped, also got the same sweater and we thought it would be perfect to show how to style it two different ways! It worked out so well too since we both got different colors! Just goes to show, it really is the perfect sweater for anyone's style.
I'm so excited to do a guest post with Chelsea, make sure and check out her blog you guys!!
(She has the cutest instagram feed too! @truelane)

Another Christmas/Holiday inspired outfit! I'm all about sequins this time of the year! It's so much fun to wear a super cool party dress and feel like you sparkle a bit ;) Green is my favorite color so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this dress. I think this dress is another one of those that could be easily dressed up or down as well. I'm a little more casual with my style, but I think some simple heels would dress this up even more!
What are you guys planning on wearing for the holidays? AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THERE'S ONLY 9 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!

Girls Online

A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of being a part of a film project, along with Michelle of Hummingbird High, for fellow blogger Eva along with some of her classmates. It was really cool being able to discuss some of the perks and struggles of being a blogger. I was really nervous but I thought it turned out SO good! Best of luck to Eva and everyone who made the film, I think the class is going to love it! And thanks again for letting me be a part of it!
Let me know what you guys think of it too! :)

I'm very excited to partner up with Jansport for the Month of December for a little tour of Portland. I'm so lucky to be living in such a cool and inspiring place and I love to share it with you guys too! You might have already been aware that Portland is known as the "Bridge City" and that is one of my favorite parts about it. It's so much fun to walk along the water front right in the middle of the city and see all of the interesting bridges...it's definitely a great place to go and get inspired.
Make sure and check out the little interview I did with Jansport to find out more about my favorite places in Portland!

Last of Fall

IMG_2819 IMG_2836 IMG_2851
This year, one of my major fall staples has been an oversized, comfy sweater. I've been so busy lately that it's been great just to throw on a sweater with my black jeans and a pair of boots and call it good. It takes out all of the complications of "what should I wear" and "I hate everything in my closet", because it's almost impossible to say no to a comfy sweater during the cold weather.

For the longest time, I've been seeing so many great outfits with oversized coats on Pinterest and Tumblr and I was searching for the perfect coat. I finally found it. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've worn this coat from Free People everyday since I got it. It's got such a cool texture and perfect light camel color that goes great with everything. And it has such a modern mixed with vintage style to it that I feel like goes so well with my style.
Me and this coat are going to be together for the long haul.
Also, my boyfriend took these photos last week during our little trip to St. John's and I love how moody they turned out. It's a little different than my usual photos, but I kind of like it. I guess it's always good to try new things!

Day Trip: St. John's Bridge

IMG_2863 IMG_2872 IMG_2866 St. Johns Bridge, Portland OR
Last week, my boyfriend and I had a spontaneous day trip to this beautiful park right under the St. John's Bridge. I've seen so many photos of it so I had been dying to go and check it out and it was just as magical as I had imagined. If you're ever in the Portland area, I recommend a trip here!
I brought along my trusty Surf Burro blanket to make my hipster photo dreams come true. Does anyone else just want to hit the road for a road trip when you see one of these blankets? I don't know why but they just scream adventure and traveling to me.
Happy Monday everyone!
