Bridge & Burn

(Coat: Bridge & Burn, Blouse: Bridge & Burn, Pants: UO, Shoes: Free People)

Sorry for the photo overload, but I couldn't help it! I was so happy how these photos turned out (a BIG thank you to my boyfriend for taking them). I also couldn't be happier to collaborate with a local Portland brand, Bridge & Burn. Erik, the owner of the company, started off just designing graphic tees and his brand blossomed into something so wonderful. It's so inspiring to meet people like him, especially when they're local too! Bridge & Burn's pieces are very classic but have a modern twist. This coat is one of my favorites from the new collection. I love the double buttons and the giant hood, it's makes it so comfy! I thought this red top was a perfect touch of color for this look too...you can never go wrong with a great floral print.

Thistle and Pine

(Hat: Anthropologie, Sweater: American Apparel, Shirt: Thrifted, Pants: Urban Outfitters)

This sweater has been a perfect go to item to stay warm, and it's reversible! It's really great for layering too since it has a wide neck opening. This is really nice for extra warmth too.
I'm pretty excited for Thanksgiving tomorrow! A lot of my family will be in town and I can't wait for all of the good food. I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving for those of you who are celebrating it!

Mojave

(Cardigan: Mojave, Tank: Anthropologie, Pants: Urban Outfitters, Boots: Vintage)

I'm pretty excited to be featuring another piece from Mojave, an awesome bohemian like boutique that's based right here in Portland! The owner picks all the items herself and the store is decorated so perfectly...it's like you're at home! I picked out this cardigan for something warm and cute to throw on during the colder days. I'm a bit of a sucker for aztec and geometric prints.
I also recently found these boots while thrifting..and I was SO thrilled about them. My boyfriend isn't too fond of them, but you know sometimes you just have to get them anyways! ;)

Frosted Morning

(Shirt: Thrifted, Overalls: Urban Outfitters, Tights: Nordstrom, Shoes: Free People)

I guess I've been going through an overall fetish lately! I love all of the different style of overalls that have been out. This one reminds me of a dress too which makes me love it even more, and all of the buttons! I've been wearing these clogs with almost everything lately. They're the perfect heel to me. I'm also happy to have gotten new polka dot tights!! They add some personality ;)

Congrats to Bridget of Deer Circus for winning the ShoeMint giveaway! Thanks so much everyone who entered!

Lumber

(Dress: c/o Chicnova, Coat: c/o SheInside, Boots: Vintage)

There's something about this outfit that just seems very Portland to me. Maybe it's the rugged boots, the army green coat, and of course the plaid all together. I haven't seen many dresses like this, I think I love it so much too because it's a girly way to wear plaid. I love being able to throw on something like this on a day where I'm running late or want to be a bit more comfortable.

Lately

One of the many reasons that I love my school, we had a DIY plant an edible herb event after class. I picked English Thyme and it's a beautiful addition to my room too!

Recent thrift finds. I have been searching for a jacket like this and I was so happy when I found this for only $16!

I am SO in love with my velvet chelsea boots from Asos. I haven't taken them off!

A little room decor I did recently!

Mixin' prints!

 Posing for Free People Portland

You guys might already know, but Alexa Chung is my style icon and I was so excited to get her new book! I read it in one night and I'm even more inspired by her. IT's a must read!!

Casual outfit for adventuring around Portland

My favorite way to relax, getting cozy with a cup of coffee or tea.

That's the Way

(Dress: c/o Black Swan, Necklace: Luv by the Moon, Shoes: Free People)

Such a dreamy dress this is. I absolutely love the long lace, I haven't seen many dresses like this. I think it's important to have a special dress for nice occasions, this is mine. It's dressy but still fits my personality and style well. The nice thing about maxi dresses too is they seem more acceptable to wear during the colder months...just because it's cold doesn't mean I am going to give up wearing dresses! ;)
