Oh, Sweet Joy Headbands!

As spring arrives, so do many cute hair accessories and I couldn't be more excited! I love pairing a cute headband with my dresses, it's a great way to pull an outfit together easily. Oh, Sweet Joy is launching new Colette headband colors and styles and I am so excited to introduce you all! There are many different ways to style the headbands (one way is how I wore it!) and I am very excited to try some other ways as well. I'm sure this spring you will see me wearing this in many of my posts!

Take a Walk in my Shoes

(Sweater: c/o Sheinside, Pants: Free People, Shoes: c/o Keds

What could be more fun to wear than some printed shoes?! I forgot how wonderful it is to wear tennis shoes, especially a pair of Keds. I remember thrifting a pair of Keds awhile back and they got lost somewhere, so sad! But at least I have these ones. These are going to be great with all of my white dresses this spring, just to add some personality. I really love the brown trimming too, they match my favorite corduroys ;)

Happy Monday, and I also want to wish my Mom a very Happy Birthday!! I love you!

New items in my vintage shop!

Bleeker Street

(Hat & Dress: (For Sale!) KooKooKachoo Vintage, Boots: Free People)

This dress and hat are probably my favorite vintage finds as of lately. This dress is the perfect maxi dress. I feel like I should be running and skipping through tall grassy fields, or start a folk band and play the banjo! Haha It just makes me feel so pretty, and I love how soft it is. This hat is without a doubt the perfect accessory for it too. The caramel color goes perfect with my ankle cowboy boots, and just really pulls it all together. I love it when a great outfit all falls into place :)

Buy this dress & hat, and lots of other great vintage in my shop!

Box of Rain

(Button-Up: c/o Sheinside, Tank: Nordstrom, Bag: Vintage, Pants: Urban Outfitters, Boots: Free People)

I've really been into wearing my high waisted pants with everything! Since it's still a bit chilly here, I still have been layering my outfits too. I absolutely love the embroidery detailing on this button up top. It gives it a little more character and color, especially to my neutral colored outfit.
My 21st birthday is next Saturday and I'm getting so excited to celebrate! My best friend is driving to come see me too, so it's going to be a blast!
Hope you all are enjoying your week!

Great vintage in my shop!

Waiting for the Sun / Quiksilver Women Collaboration

(Vest: c/o Quiksilver, Dress: c/o Quiksilver, Shoes: Free People)

Is it spring yet?! I am craving the sun so much lately. To be able to go outside again and be active! I'm getting parts of my spring wardrobe ready though. These pieces form Quiksilver are so perfect for spring and summer. I can already tell they're going to last me a long time, the quality is excellent. I had been on the search for a nice jean vest for awhile and this one is so perfect! I love that it's a lighter wash too, it's going to be a great staple for my closet.

Happy Monday!
Always great vintage in my shop!

4th Time Around

(Top: c/o ZooShoo, Pants: Urban Outfitters, Bag: c/o Vintage Revival, Shoes: Vintage)

There's nothing I love more than a top that goes great with my black jeans. I already know that I will be wearing this top a lot. It's simple but unique and perfect for when I'm on the go and want to wear something cute fast. The hemline is adorable too, I love that it's longer in the back!
When I was in Hollywood, I found these wonderful shoes at a vintage store! I'm pretty sure they're men's shoes, but they fit perfect. The little buckle detail on the side is so cute...definitely a thrift score I would say!

More vintage goodies added to my shop!

I'm Back!

Hollywood!

San Francisco, Bay Bridge!

I'm back from my little trip to California with my Uncle. It was so much fun and I saw so many places in just a few days. We drove all the way from Portland to Temecula, CA and it was a long drive. On Saturday, we went to Disneyland! I hadn't been to Disneyland since I was five so it was a total new experience for me. It was beautiful and magical, just as I expected.
On Sunday, we went through Hollywood and ate some lunch then headed back on the road home.

I have a bit of a funny story to tell you all as well. So on Sunday, I convinced my Uncle to take a detour through San Francisco since we both have never crossed the Golden Gate Bridge. He said yes, so I typed the location into the GPS and we were on our way. At around 8pm we started getting close to San Fran and I saw a huge lit up bridge in the distance and I got very excited. We continued onto the beautiful bridge, taking lots of photos, and even pulled over after to take some great shots of it. We then started to leave the city, and I posted immediately the photo of the bridge along with the caption "Off my bucket list, I've crossed Golden Gate!". Then very soon after, I received a comment on it saying that the bridge was actually Bay Bridge. So basically, we drove all the way to San Francisco to cross the wrong bridge. Hahaha! But Bay Bridge was very beautiful!

All in all the trip was great, and I miss the warm sunshine and lovely palm trees. I can't wait to visit California again.
