Army Stripes

(Jacket: For Sale in my Shop!, Top: Vintage, Jeans: Urban Outfitters, Shoes: Free People, Bag: Vintage)

In my previous posts I've talked about how I have wanted to try mixing prints in my outfits. I decided to step out of the box of my normal patterns and decided to wear army print! Surprisingly, I really love it! This little cropped top brings it all together I think too. Stripes and army print are a fun combination I think. And of courses I had to stick to my roots and throw in a couple bohemian accessories ;)

I just added lots of great stuff to my shop, including this jacket!

Monday, Monday

Monday inspiration to start off the week!
I'm loving girly pieces paired with boyish accessories lately. With a mix of the western trend. Just inspired and ready to try some new things with my outfits!

I'm currently visiting my family and boyfriend, and spending all of my money at the local thrift stores.
Back with another outfit post soon <3

Adding new stuff to my vintage shop too!

Motion Pictures

It was love at first sight with this dress. It has such an old 60s vibe to it, which is always my favorite. I love all of the details too, and that the black is all velvet! Swiss dots and velvet....a perfect combination in my eyes. I feel like I step back into time when I wear this dress, I could see some of my idols of the 60s like Pattie Boyd or Twiggy wearing something similar. I'm in love with it!

I've also added new items to my vintage shop, and more is on the way!

January Pastels

(Sweater: c/o Sheinside, Top: c/o Romwe, Shorts: c/o Romwe)

I'm a firm believer in pastels all year round! I actually really love wearing pastels in the wintertime because it creates this winter wonderland feeling for me. It's just bright, white, and airy...like a dream! There are no words to explain my love for these shorts. I'm sure you all know how much I love floral print, but embroidered floral is one of my favorites ever. It just makes it look a little more vintage to me.

New items added to my vintage shop!

Sometimes Life Happens

This past week has been a little bit crazy for me and I seemed to put blogging on the back burner! :/ There were so many things I needed to get done and my boyfriend came to visit that I just caught up in all of that! But here are a few snap shots of my life lately to give you guys an update!
My accessories from the other day. I've been hooked on white chocolate mochas lately.

Me! Wearing a railroad striped dress I got from a thrift store

I was very, very, VERY excited when I saw that Free People pinned a photo of my on one of their Pinterest Boards! I think it's been stated many times how much I love Free People ;)

I love reading before bed. I also have been getting old books at thrift stores, the writing is so different and interesting.

My favorite shorts of the moment. I love embroidered floral print.

Tea and cozy socks are perfect for the cold winter days.

During the beginning of the week I switched bedrooms and while I was arranging my room, I realized how much it's starting to look like an antique mall... Not complaining at all.

A pretty gem I picked up from Goodwill
Did I mention how much I love floral print? ;) And floral print corduroy!? I couldn't be happier.

These shoes have pretty much been glued to my feet lately. They're my favorite!

Sorry again for the lack of an official outfit post lately! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!

In my Jewelry Box

I'm usually very minimalistic when it comes to accessories. But I do have some pieces that I absolutely love. I would have to say that rings are probably my favorite item of jewelry. They're all so unique and always add personality and make an outfit more interesting.
The chevron knuckle ring in the second photo has been my favorite lately. It's from a cute little Etsy shop, Enamour Entirety, and I haven't wanted to take it off! And the two large stone rings I actually made myself (the b&w stone & rectangular stone)! So they are a little special to me :)

What's your favorite item of jewelry you own?
Hope you are enjoying your week! I also added new stuff to my vintage shop!

Shake Those Winter Blues

(Sweater: Urban Outfitters, Polka Dot Top: Urban Outfitters, Pants: Urban Outfitters, Shoes: Free People)

This outfit is a little similar to a previous post of mine, seen here, but I have been in love with layering sweaters over collared tops lately. Both of these tops from Urban Outfitters work wonderful for layering too. It's been pretty cold here so this sweater and the long sleeve polka dot top have been keeping me nice and warm. I recently got these high waist pants, even though it's hard to tell in these photos they are high waisted...but they are wonderful! They go with everything. I plan on getting the same pants in jeans. My closet is missing a good pair of jeans.
Last but not least...I have finally gotten myself my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell's. THEY ARE AMAZING. I never want to take them off, and I love the little heel. Too good to be true :)

Happy Monday all!
Last day to vote for the Fashiolista contest, I need your votes! You can win a trip to NYFW as well!

Time for an Adventure

I had such a fun Saturday exploring Fort Vancouver and many other cool places today with my uncle! There are so many historical places and sites to see around where I live and I love seeing them. The Fort has been around since the 1800s and the buildings were so cool. We could see lots of old artifacts and go inside where they lived. I learned a lot about from just a day trip to this spot. I can't even imagine what life would be like back then.
And of course my uncle snapped some great photos of me in a pretty grassy field!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend too!

Forever Young

(Vintage bolo tie, Dress & Tights: c/o Romwe, Jacket: c/o Sheinside, Boots: Vintage)

There's no better boho accessory than a beautiful bolo tie. This bolo tie is my favorite ever. I got it at an estate sale a few years back and I think I paid a whole $2 for it! I love the stone in it, it's such a perfect piece for my simple dresses and tops.
I've been a little into the whole 'military themed' trend lately. I love pairing mens inspired things with girly pieces like dresses, and army green and brown are a few of my favorite colors to wear. Faux leather sleeved jackets have been catching my eye lately too, so I'm happy to try one out for myself finally!

I hope you all are enjoying your week, and remember to vote for me in the Fashiolista contest & you could win a trip to Fashion Week too! VOTE HERE!
