Contrast

You might have noticed my slight obsession with black and white outfits lately. They are just so classic and chic. This jacket has to be one of the coolest items I own. I mean, seriously, what is better than a white moto jacket? The fact that it's so structured makes it that much more edgy and cool in my eyes. It reminds me of something that Keith Richards or Mick Jagger would be wearing today if the Rolling Stones were playing in this era.
I always love a little rock n roll.

Favorite Sweater

Hey everyone, meet my favorite sweater. You can ask all the girls at work, I wear this thing a couple times a week. It's seriously the perfect, cozy, turtleneck ever. It goes great with all my jeans and tennis shoes, which in all creates the ideal "I'm ready for school and to be as comfy as possible, but I want to look like I didn't just completely rolled out of bed" look.
This sweater also started my obsession with turtlenecks...it's getting a bit out of hand.

Autumn Days

IMG_6606 IMG_6638 IMG_6664 IMG_6653
Just like most people, I definitely have a giant soft spot for fall. Seeing the leaves slowly change to bright and vibrant colors, snuggling up with a warm cup of coffee or cider, and the cold weather... which means layers! I love finally being able to bundle up under big coats and scarves. I'm super happy about my new addition to my closet, this poncho! When I first saw it, I was instantly drawn to the colors. My favorite part about it is that it doubles up as a scarf! It seriously is the perfect piece for my favorite time of year.

Rained In

I'm currently laying in bed listening to the rain pour...basically rained in. I forgot how rainy Portland gets especially since I got so caught up in the beautiful summer months. It's so easy for me to just want to stay in all day, the rain makes blog photos almost impossible! I try to stay somewhat productive with homework or hangout in a coffee shop. I want to start painting again or start back up my vintage shop. I'm thinking about making a rainy day bucket list!
What are your favorite things to do on a rainy day? Because I have a lot planned ahead!

#NastyGalsAboutTown Part 3 Portland

IMG_5035 IMG_5075 IMG_5132 IMG_5129 IMG_5106
Last part of my #NastyGalsAboutTown series! I saved my two favorites for last: Pips Donuts and Mississippi Street. Pips Donuts is the cutest little donut shop in Portland, I think. My favorite donut there, the Dirty Wu, is covered in Nutella, Cinnamon and Sugar, and honey...it's heavenly. And they have lots of different house made chai's!
Mississippi street is one of my favorite spots to walk around. There's a nursery on the street called Pistils and it is an absolute must! The first concert I ever went to in Portland was on Mississippi street...and I saw Washed Out there for the first time! So you can see why I love it so much ;)
I hope you all enjoyed my favorite spots in Portland! I have only been here for 2 years now so I still have lots of exploring left in the city myself!

#NastyGalsAboutTown Portland - House of Vintage

IMG_4930 IMG_2714 IMG_4982 IMG_4905
Part two of my collaboration with Nasty Gal!! Another one of my favorite spots in Portland is House of Vintage. It's a giant warehouse filled with vendors selling all their amazing vintage finds! It's pretty easy to get lost in their for a couple hours digging through it all. But I think one of the greatest things about HOV is the PHOTO BOOTH! It's almost impossible for me to go there without going into the photo booth (even if it's a selfie haha).

#NastyGalsAboutTown Portland - Part One

I AM ECSTATIC about having the chance to team up with Nasty Gal to share you guys some of my favorite spots in my city of Portland, OR! For those of you who have been reading my blog from the start, probably know about my early love for Nasty Gal. So this is definitely a bit of a "pinch me" moment!
For this first look, I had planned to go to Porque No (the best mexican restaurant everrr) but there were closed so I decided to hangout at one of the iconic food carts. There are so many different types of food that you can get there and so many different locations. This day I just happened to get some chicken teriyaki at the Belmont location. If you guys ever get the chance, get some poutine from Potato Champion. It's THE bomb.
More looks and places in Portland to come for #NastyGalsAboutTown!!

Black on Black

IMG_5688 IMG_5675 IMG_5695 IMG_5682 IMG_5691 IMG_5701
The weather has been so up and down lately, it's been kinda hard to get dressed. I've been wanting so badly to wear my sweaters so I guess a knit cropped top will have to do until it cools down. I think the rainy days are just around the corner though.
I'm loving anything black and white as always. And I'm also discovering how versatile this faux leather vest really is. It's become a staple for my wardrobe and closet.
Just a late night post, even though I have to get up early! I hope you guys are all enjoying your week!

Basic Uniform

It's funny how I can be so skeptical to posting outfits like these, just because they're pretty simple. But honestly, this has been what I've been wearing so much of lately. My outfits have been a comfy sweater, jeans, and my new balances. It's just the perfect outfit for this weather and it's great to my busy schedule. And I've always been one to think that less is more when it comes to outfits.
