Day Trip: St. John's Bridge

Last week, my boyfriend and I had a spontaneous day trip to this beautiful park right under the St. John's Bridge. I've seen so many photos of it so I had been dying to go and check it out and it was just as magical as I had imagined. If you're ever in the Portland area, I recommend a trip here!
I brought along my trusty Surf Burro blanket to make my hipster photo dreams come true. Does anyone else just want to hit the road for a road trip when you see one of these blankets? I don't know why but they just scream adventure and traveling to me.
Happy Monday everyone!

There are those days that I feel like growing up in the Northwest has had an impact on my style. Especially with during these colder months, there's nothing like a cozy oversized sweater and a hat to bring out my inner mountain woman. I've been so lucky to grow up being surrounded by such incredible landscapes and being able to experience all of the four seasons.

Does anyone else love stopping at view points or pretty places when on a road trip? When I was younger, one of my uncles and I went on a little four hour road trip and we stopped at every single view point/monument on the way. Ever since, I try and stop as much as I can (if I'm not in a hurry at least). Well this time was so worth it.
I saw these beautiful orange leave trees that were in perfect rows and I knew I had to stop. It felt like an Autumn dream. I just wanted to run down to the other side to see where it would lead.
This was just a reminder for me to stop and smell the roses and to sometimes stop and see where the road will take me.

Tropics

Gosh, I've been the worst blogger lately. I've just been busy working so much these past couple of days that I almost forgot to post!
Tropical prints seem to be everywhere lately. I thought I would try them out for myself. They make me long for a sunny, sandy getaway (with a margarita in hand of course).
These shoes have been so wonderful to me. I have really flat feet so it's nice to give them a break and wear something super comfortable!
