Simple & Delicious Chai Tea

Something I love to drink during the fall and winter is chai tea! Of course I love running through a coffee shop to get one, but they can get pretty spendy after awhile. Luckily, I found a quick and easy way to make it myself at home. I hope you guys like it as much as I do! :)

What you'll need:
-Hot Water
-Chai Tea in brew bags (I like Tazo a lot!)
-Cinnamon
-Milk
-Sugar

1. First, simply brew the chai tea in one cup of hot water for a minute or so
2. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top
3. Pour 3 teaspoons of milk in tea and stir
4. Stir in 1/2 tablespoon of sugar (more or less depending how sweet you like it)
And enjoy!
I like adding an extra dash of cinnamon on top, or even a bit of nutmeg if it's available ;)
My favorite drink made easy!
Let me know if you guys try it out...and tell me what ya think!

  1. I LOVE CHAI TEA. intact my friends tease me about it because my kitchen shelves are stacked with boxes of all different types. ands yes I also have tazo, which is my favorite. Though i prefer it iced. I steep two bags in a coffee cup just a 3rd full. Then add sugar and honey. After its cooled a bit i pour it in to a tall glass over ice and soy milk. MMMMMMM cinnamon on top!

  4. I love Chai but haven't tried Tazo - definitely going to pick it up on my next shopping trip. And cinnamon just makes it from a great drink into an amazing one! x

  5. Here we call tea - chai so it literally translates to tea tea LOL. But there are many variations to chai, like adding some cardamom pods! Ginger chai is the best for remedy for common cold. Always works. Great post as always :)

  6. Hi Tonya! It's the first time I leave a comment, so hi there :)
I love your blog and your style, but I also find something very funny...I think we two look alike haha maybe because of the hair, maybe because we pose very similar (maybe it's just my imagination). Someday I'll show you a picture so you can tell me what do you think!

Sorry for my english...(regards from Spain!)
