Days Off

#loveuo11 #loveuo14
With school starting back up and learning new stuff at work, things have been getting pretty busy lately. So when I do have a day off, I really try to take advantage of it and give myself time to relax and refuel. My favorite thing to do is to stay in bed extra long and listen to my favorite albums (most likely The Beatles of course!) Days off are really important and I really start wanting to treat them more as an actual day off. Even if it's a little day trip out of the city, I just want to spend them doing something I genuinely enjoy.
How do you guys relax and take advantage of a day off?

Something that really inspires me is exploring my city, Portland. It's such a cool city to walk around and see where the street will take you. I've seen this wall a couple of times and have been dying to take photos in front of it and I finally did! I thought it would be the perfect against this edgy, black body suit. I've been wearing so much black lately! Which is definitely a bit of a change since I used to wear so much color. But I love the simplicity of a black outfit and the ability to mix and match with my ivory, white, and navy pieces so well. Even if you don't wear color all the time, you can always surround yourself with it!

Old Ways

I thought I would go back to my original inspiration and go for a vintage inspired look. Even though this romper is modern, it looks so 60s to me! I love the high collar. I have been searching for the perfect caramel colored hat for a couple months now and I have FINALLY found it! It's going to be so wonderful for fall, I'm getting even more excited for the upcoming season. But I am going to miss wearing cutoffs and sandals...

Rock & Roll

Somedays, like when it's hot out, I just want to throw on a tee, shorts, and some boots. This shirt is a great go to for those days. Again, wearing it makes me want to be on a road trip with my head out the window and my hair blowing in the wind. Bandit Brand has the perfect tees for those types of days. I love their old, classic 70s style. And who doesn't love a little Rock & Roll?
And I finally own my first ever leather jacket! (Even though it's not real leather) I think leather jackets are going to be a new staple of mine.

Let's Run Away

I've been seeing so many people go on vacation lately, and I am so completely jealous. Nothing sounds nicer than lounging on a beach under the sun. It's good to have a break every now and then I think. This is another look as a #uoonyou Stylist. I am really in love with these shorts! They're so funky and add a great bit of color to a normal tank top. They would definitely be the perfect piece for any type of summer activity.
I also bought myself a new lens for my camera! I'm pretty excited about it and even more excited how the photos turn out with them! I can't wait to take more outfit photos with it.
