DIY Mason Jar (waterless) Snow Globe

This might be the simplest but cutest DIY I've ever done. I've been seeing these jar snow globes all over the internet and I thought they would make for a great gift! They didn't take very long and I was so pleased in how they turned out. I didn't plan on making a tutorial but I got a couple of requests on how I made them so here's a simplified version!

What you'll need:
-Jars
-Fake Snow
-Fake Trees and/or Figurines
-Glitter
-Glue
-Twine

Before I started, I painted the lids of the jars to make them all match. I did this the night before to ensure that they would be dry.

The first step I did was glue the trees and other figurines to the bottom of the jars. I even added some more glitter to my trees by hot gluing dots or lines and then spreading glitter on them. After adding the trees, I glued the fake snow around the bottom of the lid to cover the bottom. Once the fake snow was down, I sprinkled some glitter on the top.

It is optional whether or not you want to glue twine around the entire lid or tie a bow. I alternated to make some different than others.
That's it! Super easy and super adorable!
There many other ways to make these, just check out Pinterest for more tutorials and inspiration.
Good luck and Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
